Formula Ford Zetec dates

Sorry if this is a repeat of another topic but I was wondering if anyone knows the dates of the Zetec championship.

Many thanks

El_Gibleto should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The dates are the same as the btcc series dates.

Qualifying and heats on day 1, final on day 2

Yes, thats the plan, obviously the planning restrictions at some circuits may change the schedule.

yes , i thought it was only at about 70% of the rounds.......the rest would just have the normal races without the heats .

I am interested to see how they can fit it all in, in one day! especially with Formula Fords, and the time inbetween needed to repair cars!! especially this year when the stakes are high with so many entries!!!

I understand that the way the new system works is that you have Qualifying and a heat on day 1 and the final race on day 2. What they have done is split the qualifying and day 1 race into 2 shorter sessions and then the top drivers go on to compete in the final on the next day. There will still be the same amount of time to repair damaged cars.
I think these are the dates:
Mondello, April 20 – 21,
Thruxton, May 4 –5,
Silverstone, May 25 – 26,
Brands, June 7 – 8
Croft, June 21 – 22
Rockingham, July 12 – 13
Snetterton, August 8 – 9
Brands, August, 24 – 25
Donington, Sept 6 – 7
Oulton, Sept 20 - 21

it was, but then if you didn't qualify well you would miss both races. It's the best solution to give everybody a chance and atleast one race if a bit short. They might have been a bit to quick to write Fford off and merge the championships, but it is done now and toy late to change back.
