Kenny Roberts to miss next 3 races
Team Suzuki have announced that Kenny Roberts will miss the next 3 races due to his injuries sustained at the first corner pile up in motegi.
http://motogp.tiscali.com/en/motogp/....htm?menu=home this links tells the full story of whats happening but they have announced that Japanese rider Yukio kagayama will be his replacement. bad news for Kenny I guess , gee he has had some bad luck in his career , i hope he gets well soon and can get back on the bike for the final race of the year. |

It's a real blow for Kenny, epsecially as the bike was starting to become competitive.
Also, I wonder how Lavilla feels about Yukio getting the ride ahead of him - after all, Gregorio has been their third rider all season, has done lots of test and development work on the bike as well as WSBK for years in the past, and the fpr 2 races the ride goes to someone from a domestic championship? |

All respect for the ex-champ.
Maybe this is a good time to hang up his leathers. He is not exactly looking like he wants it anymore. Last edited by Winther; 28 Sep 2004 at 18:12. |

Hmm. A shame for Kenny, but good news for Yukio, hopefully he can get a couple of good results.

He's about a second behind Hopkins in qualifying 1, which is reasonably encouraging. Gregorio's enver going to be a star, but he's a loyal Suzuki man who's picked up respectable results for them in a wide range of championships.
