Tracy could be out of Mexico
But at least he's honest:
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/55526 If they replace him that means they'll be running three new drivers in the team |

Because ChampCar awards millions of points at each race, which go all the way to 50th place or whatever, you would pick up a bundle of points just by qualifying 19th or 20th (last) and starting the race

For once Paul Tracy has owned up to an accident...
So, at the next round in Mexico, we'll (probably) have three new Forsythe drivers, one new RuSport driver (two if you count Briscoe)... Newman/Haas planning on botting out Bourdias for no reason? |

Didn't I see a similar incident in Jackass the Movie? I don't think I'll be accepting any snow cones from PT from here on in.

No it is championship points. In ChampCar they don't have a rule of what distance you have to cover. If you qualify 20th and then retire on lap 1 you get the points for "finishing" 20th. |

Points arrive only up to 20th place however.
I'm all for this stuff though, what are we supposed to do, curtail the drivers' private lifes? Not allow Tracy to party, not allow Loeb to go mountain biking? |

Loeb going mountain biking, fair enough, that's part of a training/fitness regime.
Getting ****ed and acting like an idiot surely isn't the action of a professional sportsman. |

A lot of teams put limits on dangerous activities into the contacts. Unfortunately human nature, alcohol, and a more 'wild' personality like Paul's don't always go together too well.

What a retard.
So how many consecutive starts does Tracy have? I think the last race i recall him missing is Homestead in 1999.. |

I'm all for drivers having freedom in there personal lives, but doing stupid things like that goes over the edge. I'm not sure why 2006 has been such a disaster for PT, but that certain doesn't help. Forsythe may be very supportive of PT, but Forsythe is an emotional guy. I could imagine a situation where a repeat performance of 2006 could result in PT getting fired.

After the season that PT has had, can you blame him for drinking that heavily.
However from a Forsythe point of view, he will tear shreds of the guy and quite rightly aswell. |

Yes, it's hardly a surprise that it happens to be Tracy that is involved in such an incident

He only had to wait 2 weeks to do all the wild things he wanted. Completely unprofessional for a driver with so much experience to do that.

Hey, look at the bright side, this time the dumb move was in a golf cart not a champ car.
