Bayliss Do The Double?
Qualiyfy the Bike at Assen, do the race on sunday, fly to Misano for Sunday and do the WSBK race(s).
Unlikely but would be cool. Okay, apart from that, who do you think Ducati would use to replace one or both of their riders? |

I read somewhere that an Italian magazine reportes that Xaus -> Sete's Bike, and Bostrom -> Xaus' bike for the race.
Also Ducati worded it like Sete might not ever ride again! Quote:
Itoh still seems the logicall choice, even if he will finish dead last behind the privateer Dukes... |

Xaus showed some speed on the rubbish Duke even if he was a lame duck on the Yamaha. Should be interesting anyway. I think Xaus wasn't happy with the shape of his body so he takes every opportunity possible to hurl himself off bikes at 120mph to mould it more to his liking - that guy must be made of rubber. So many crashes yet so little injury.

Whatever happened to Itoh? Did he not replace Capirossi last year in Turkey? I would love to see the other test rider, Guareschi ride the Duc in Assen.

There was no way they were going to risk Troy in running at Assen, not with Ducati wanting it's WSBK crown back.
I would have throught the Ducati golden boy, Lanzi would have been given the ride in MotoGP. He is not really up in the points and I am sure Ducati have high hopes for him, being an Italian and born & bred around Bologna (home of Ducati) Any news on how long Gibernau will be out for? I would have thoughts a broken collarbone would be more than a week or 2. Last edited by L34; 21 Jun 2006 at 07:55. |

Yeah. Who do you reckon they'd get for Donnington?
Lavillia? Bayliss? Xaus? Itoh? |

as a huge Bayliss fan id love to see him have another crack on it, but is it reasnoble to expect any of the above to be somthing other than a back of field also ran given the lack to time on the bike and testing? GP bikes have moved on a lot since even Bayliss ran one last year.
my betis on Xaus. he showed goodish form the other day, and is also not key in Ducatis plans for world domination ( mwahahahaha )and therefore expendable if the **** hits the fan. |
