It was a Nice attempt at a novel idea- but we have too many series running aorund anyway-for the most part. Why didn't they market the Idea they had to F3000 or F1 itself? i am sure Jaguar-Arsenal, or Jaguar Man U would do very well as an all british Team, all the tie ins wow... but TRAC (www.traczone.com tried this 'team racing sports' idea in the States and it flopped with not much fan fare either. It was a poorly timed idea and a weak event system based on Cities or Regions sponsoring cars- i.e. atlanta Thunder 3 car team. They could use these ideas in existing series' probably to good effect, it would help the Sposor fighting too i am sure, as a city would help support it and the league as in ProStickandBall sports now. (would that be ProSaB?)

Well I'm sure that nobody will be mourning for that unwanted series.

The Challenge Initiative good idea but wrong concept, this should of been a UK single seater oval series and run with the ascar not a UK single seater stand alone series running on circuits, where the market is over crowed already.

I work in the business. But you won't have to wait more than 3 weeks to see a new website for P1GP.

Wasn't the deal, that the football clubs simply put their name to the cars - not any cash at all. As far as I remember it cost them nothing to get involved, but in theory opened up their fan base.
