Andretti Motor Speedway
I haven't posted a road course in a while, I just don't think I am any good at them. None the less, I have designed a road course aptly titled Andretti Motor Speedway, honoring one of the greatest families in racing. The track runs clockwise. The GP circuit is about three miles long and containes 12 corners. Next, there is the short circuit, which bypasses the infield. This track has 9 corners. Then there is the club circuit, which uses the infield of the GP circuit and the short circuit straight. This track runs clockwise as well. As you will notice, I added a chicane along the backstraight of the club circuit because without it, the club circuit would be a modified oval run in the wrong direction.
I hope you guys like it. As for the maps, first is the overall layout of the three tracks, second is the GP circuit, third is the short circuit, and finally is the club circuit. |

I like the GP circuit the best, but I don't think I like all those long corners.

The later half of the GP circuit, the corners from the one departing the infield loop, and the next 2 are all similar right hand flicks. Not much overtaking to be had there.

I think these are quite pointless tracks.

It seems that they'd be very fast, due to the fast corners and large number of straights. I think if F1 used the GP track, it'd end up like Catalunya; great track for drivers, but little overtaking, because of all the high downforce due to the lack of easy overtaking spots.

I can see how this would be a fast track. Any one want to edit the track to make it better?
