An ok race as the season opener but not scintillating. The cars can definitely run closer but actually overtaking, still seems to a bit of an issue. The race itself started off ok but before the 40 lap mark, it sort of tailed off. Otherwise, some good mid field battles, especially Kvyat and Gasly, in their respective Honda powered Toro Rosso-Red Bulls.

5 Not very good, but better than nothing and first of the year. If it was June would probably get a 3.

Gave it a 4 as very little happened and overtaking was seriously lacking

6. Promising in some respects but definitely fizzled after lap 40!
First race should mean a bump but downside is realizing that its a long season and everyone might have been saving engines or something. |

Dreadful. These new regs have done nothing for the racing. And we now have a gimmicky point for FL. Mercedes still won, what do you expect. The pinnacle? Don’t make me laugh.

5 - it was OK, but I would struggle to talk about the race for more than 30 seconds if someone who did not see the race asked me about it.

6. Rather dull. I'm actually in favour of the point for FL - have been for years. But nothing really to write home about other than seeing Bottas perform as he should have done all last season.....

The weather was good!
F1 seems to be becoming a "Table of Excuses" with all the reasons why the cars and drivers don't "perform"... All the carping seems to be a First World problem...despite all the shuffling of the deckchairs, "improvements" and added regulation and rule complication (no desire stronger in man than to alter, amend, change, tinker etc)...its still a great spectacle |

It was okay, decent and enjoyable. I enjoy most of them. Average, however lifted by one point for bringing the excitement of a season opener. 6.

6 from me, once I eventually found time to watch all 3 bits of it (thanks, kids).
It was OK. Bottas' drive was pretty close to perfection, mind you. And Ferrari will pay for keeping ItIsEye behind Seb, eventually. |

I liked it, race was essentially finished after the first pit stops so I could move on to other things. Very thoughtful of them
