There is a void in my life. First GP2 and now F1 is over!
I was captivated like never before by F1 and Gp2 this year. I'm like a junkie in forced rehab.
At least when testing resumes in Barcelona on the 28th of November, there should be live timing which should saturate my senses and hold me over for a while. |

A1GP, winter series FFord's and FRenaults... That should provide you with the relevant fix!

How I wish the F1 season would end mid-November like it used to up until mid 90's and start again in Feb or something (like it did upto beginning of the 80's), even if it meant the races were a bit more spread out over the course of the season.
Withdrawal symptoms would be considerably less that way!! |

I think I have to start sleeping from November to February, at least. Football is not as fun as F1

Like an "F1 fan winter hibernation (except for when there's test days) plan."?

Well, NASCAR, MotGP, WTCC and A1 GP haven't finished yet, so plenty to occupy me.
Plus the end of season books, videos etc... And life of course. |

I like F1, but there is tons of other club and national level motorsport that is fantastic to watch (in real life, no less!). Not to mention the conclusion to the MotoGP as Knowlesy mentioned!
Where do you live Frank? |

Don't forget the clubman racing at Mallory Park on boxing day!
Beats watching 'the great escape' or whatever the repeated tosh the TV stations serves up! |

How about the Rallycross Grand Prix at Croft next weekend? Multiple European champion Kenneth Hansen takes on the best of the Brits. Some serious extreme machines - 600 bhp on tap with 0-60 acceleration faster than an F1 car... and on dirt too!

As has been said, Moto GP, Champcar, WTCC, DTM and A1 havent finished yet and then there is always Motors TV. A good chance to catch up with series I dont normally have time to follow during the year in the winter months such as Super GT and FPA, V8 supercars etc.

I have been tracking Motogp all year, but there is no suspense around the last race. There is less chance of Rossi losing than there was for Alonso in Brazil.
Also, I watch the Nascar races with Montoya. Truthfully, my MO was to watch the first 20-30 mins do something else then after about 45mins i watch the rest. The last race was easy, after 7mins Montoya was out of contention so i didn't watch anymore. People call F1 boring buts its the cat's meow compared to Nascar. In Nascar the only interesting bits (usually) is the first 20 mins and the last 20 mins. |

F1 has been better this season but I'd rather watch NASCAR. For me modern F1 is too predictable with very few drivers having a realistic chance of winning a GP. |

Tape all the races you can (not just F1) and watch them back to back in the off season.
