On Sunday of each race weekend my good friend Michael Ferweda owner of Zinger Hardware and General Merchant in Austin hosts an F1 watch party at The Cool River Cafe, which is located at 4001 W Parmer Ln Austin, TX 78727 (512)835-0010

For the first race of the season they had more than three hundred people who came to watch the race and have fun...Local TV stations turned out to film the event..

I went last weekend and it's a great deal of fun..

The screen is HUGE and the sound system is quite impressive, plus there are some beautiful cars parked outside, and some gorgeous women parked inside..

I hope to see you there !!

Are the watch parties live or showing a replay?

I'd totally be down for a live watch party with a breakfast menu and perhaps irish coffee and/or bloody mary's.

They are pre-recorded HD and then played back at around 1PM CST..

You can order what ever you like from the menu and bar...

Since the other thread on the Austin GP has been closed I will mention this here.
The 2012 USGP at the Circuit of the Americas has been voted "sports event of the year" by the Sports Business Journal / Daily Business Awards.

Well done to all those involved.
