kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Race a FF Zetec at Oulton for free!!!

Copy and paste this link to download TOCA Racedriver 2 Demo.
http://www.codemasters.co.uk/downloa...details=13229k

You can race against other racers on the internet. Stu and Ian rate it as very realistic, especially at Oulton Fosters which is Brill. The camber even changes exiting Lodge!

You can race against allcomers or set up your own 'club' of invited racers.

Pikey should love it, 'cos you can use loads of grass and even better, turn off damage.

Let us know if your game for a race.

Barry Pomfret should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The Formula Fords are based on my car. Just after the 2003 Autosport Show I was contacted by Codemasters, they had seen the car on the 750 MC stand and wanted to know if they could use it in the new game.In Feb.03 we went to the Codemasters premises and spent a day having the car photographed from various angles and many measurements taken. Eventually a set of technical drawings were completed which the software guys would use to recreate the car for the game. The detail is exceptional, you can even see the individual LEDs on the rear rain light! The engine sound was recorded at MIRAs acoustic lab, we took the car to MIRA last June and spent a morning running on a rolling road inside a giant recording studio. If you look closely on the red car you will see my name, our engine builders stickers and 750MC decals.

Gavin, that was my other Zetec! The game was based on the red car I had out at Donington.
Kevin really enjoyed his race with you at Brands yesterday,we had a look at the lap chart and reckon you two swapped places at least eight times in the race! I gather you two got a standing ovation from the grandstand at one point. It's a shame a few more zetecs are not out in the 750 club so they can have their own championship instead of running with the A class cars.

I agree would have been amazing if there was more zetecs fighting for position, Mind the class A`s helped both of us out when they lapped us, Although some were not too impressed with being held up by our little fight!!

I'm planning on bringing out my SC97 for Mallory, Silverstone and Cadwell - although (Sod's law) since deciding to hang onto it and rejoining the 750MC I've had two people phone me up about buying it...

The cars available to Monoposto 1800 and 750MC's Zetec class should all try running together at some point, it would probably make an excellent race. There must be loads of eligible cars around, and very cheap to buy and run.

I am told that there is outline approval to run an FVJ in the invitation class of F4 so I am hoping to join you sometime. In the mean time, try Monoposto sometime, too.

The F Vauxhall Juniors couldn't unless the BRSCC wants to change the rules; the FVJ 16V cars have a similar power to weight ratio as FF Zetecs, and will run on exactly the same tyres. Driver for driver lap times should be similar.

Sorry John, perhaps this thread should be split.

I don't think that it would be a grudge match at all but would be damn good fun!

Its possible already - ALL the cars in F4 and Monoposto are eligible for the BARC-SEC single seater series, the BRSCC winter series and the Mallory Park Boxing Day "Plum Pudding" event. And, the FF Zetec and FF 2000 cars in F4 are eligible for the Monoposto 1800 class.

There must be many more than 17 cars available - I can think of at least 7 FVJ 16V cars and there must be garages full of older FF Zetecs about. Could be the best value single seater grid possible, if only more people new about Monoposto 1800!
