SBR testing Monday
SBR are testing tomorrow ahead of Eastern Creek and hopefully they will have the same demon setup as they had there earlier this year, Paul Forgie said they were trying a couple of different things.

If they have the same beast they had earlier in the year, I'd be asking questions why they haven't had it for the last 3 rounds if I was Marcos!
And they might have the same, but it looks to me that Kmart and HRT will be on the same pace |

Despite, KMR having run #51 VX earlier this year I too think the VY will be suprisingly quicker than SBR next week, they car and the driver are just in the Zone man, Ambrose and SBR are a little off song, now with out Campbell are going off song even more.

Marcos seemed a little down in the mouth during his interview will bill the boy woods on 10 yesterday, maybe all the rumours of his move and the loss of little is playing a bigger part in his attitude at present than even the team will admit.

The loss of Little won't affect Marcos' performance as much because Little is Ingall's engineer. Paul Forgie is Marcos' engineer. I think the test will put them back on their game and will be on the money out of the box come Friday.

Whilst I don't know the exact possie he needs to finish, the bottom line is Murphy needs to win races, Marcos doesn't. |

A little birdie tells me all was not well at the practice day....seems two SBR people in particular are still unlikely to be sending each other Christmas cards this year.
I don't wish any "bad" luck on SBR or Ambrose in particular. But gee, they're making it pretty much as hard as they possibly can for themselves. |

I think SBR are feeling the pressure & are letting it get to them, their best chance of success this weekend is to just relax & treat it like a normal race.

I dont think SBR is feeling any pressure, its more likely a media beatup than a reality.
The drivers may not be the best of buddies (and should build a bridge to get over it as they will be together 2 more years!) but I am sure that is more the driver of car #4 externalising his own demons to all and sundry. One or both of them will get the appropriate kick up the posterior before race weekend and it will all come back to them. |

My informant at SBR tells me That the PMM Sirromet Holden was the quickest car at Qld Raceway yesterday then Marcos then Russell then the 888 cars and Speedy bringing up the rear

Glad to see the new engine spec at PMM is working a treat. Bring on Eastern Creek, it will get a workout there.
I would have thought PM would still be totally stuffed after the strong 3rd place in the 24hr however.... |

I'm certain parity will be an issue after Eastern creek Paul Morris had speed at Sandown but he appeared to loose it after that and he does not have a good record of going forward through the field.

PMM has a car that seems to handle well, but lacks poke in a straight line.
Having watched the driver flog the little Porsche for over 6 hours on the weekend, its not a driving talent issue! |

I know it looks that way Grimace, but we are yet to see the full powerhouse of SHRT, KKRT & PWR VY/VY's equipped with Auroras to see what they can do.
There is no provision in the Parity section of the Supercar rulebook to make a parity change of the makes in any manner other than the lap averaging system. And it takes 5 cars of the specified model to do this, so perhaps the delay in introducing genuine VY/VY/Auroras is political more than technical  |

I doubt that some little tiff between the drivers will cause any real strife, some teams churn through "equal #1" drivers at the rate of one per season and still get fantastic results

GTR i understand the way it works- just a damn shame the full VY spec wasnt run by everyone this year- I want something to cheer about- but its looking like a 2004 one make series win coming up again- NOT good for the sport!!! Not good at all...........they bet to act quickly in some way shape or form!!!
