If you look at the table after Austria, I doubt many would say that Williams would have ever led the championship this year.

After this last race I am convinced that Williams will win the WCC. The way RS and JPM (especially RS) have been driving too makes me more concident in that. JPM has always been a racer but now RS has picked up his racing too. Next year they may be unbeatable!!

As a Ferrari fan, I can only watch and weep. But you gotta hand it to Williams, JPM and Ralfy.....MS and Ferrari have some a work to do if they are gonna hang on to either title.
Still, you can't expect to be at the top for ever........ |

I wonder how much of the Ferrari "fans" will be wearing Williams caps next year if Williams wins it.

Amazing though that a McLaren 1-2 could swing them into the championship lead. It's been an incredible season.
From mid-season, it was starting to look like Williams had the edge. It's similar to 1987, where Prost led the championship for McLaren, but Williams were showing halfway through the year that they had a performance edge, and that they could beat everyone when they lasted. And they finished 1-2 that year. It's too close to call, but Williams' constructors championship chance is slightly better than JPM's drivers' hopes. |

Hmmm... as I said in another thread, we haven't had a wet race in a while. The Bridgestones and Michael will rule if we get one of those.
But Williams/Michelin sure have done a wonderful amount of homework! Forza Ferrari! |

Logic dictates that Williams will dominate in Monza, no high speed corners (parabolica aside) so the BMW power will come into play there.
I predict that Indy will be less easy for Williams, where they have several fast corners. I think Ferrari will lead the way at Suzuka though. |

Well, Monza and Indy are Williams tracks, so it makes 2 on 1 right... but again there are McLaren...

Williams should walk it at Monza, if they don't something is badly wrong.
I do predict a closer fight at Indy though. Suzuka will be evens, with Ferrari having a slight edge... |

Williams should not be at a disadvantage in any of the upcoming races. As long as they have the advantage they do now in grip levels no one on BS will beat them. Indy has a couple of stupid corners that require a lot of mechanical grip.
If you have a tire advantage, you have an advantage on every track. I think Suzuka may be Ferrari's worse race yet. If no changes are made they are in trouble. This track is all about balance and handling. It may be fast but superior grip will again beat all. |
