Junior WRC news
- Lada preparing a Junior WRC car based on the Lada 112 for the 2003 season.
- Hyundai studying on the possibility to run a new, compact car in Junior WRC. According to David Whitehead there is a certain potential in the car. - Renault's Clio Super 1600 will be homologated on April 1 and will be seen in France and Italy. On the same date the Proton Satria will be homologated. - In Catalunya Fiat will have new shockabsorbers and a new power-shift system. This was originally disallowed for Super 1600, while most kitcars had it, like the Punto. - The MG ZR needs a lot of development. After a reasonable good 6th time on the 1st SS in Monaco Gwyndaf Evans went off. The worst thing had to come, the truck that had to bring back the car to service crashed, the only available MG ZR was heavily damaged. |

Great news with the new cars. Not great news for MG, although they've had/got some time to get the ZRs repaired before the next round

The more cars the better - hopefully MG can bouce back from thier problems!
