Speed TV coverage upped
Attention North American Fans: Your nap time has been cut down to 2 hours, from 8 to 10 pm EDT.
Speed is now airing an additional 2 hours of the race. Here's the schedule: Code:

YES!!!!!!
I can't wait!!!!! BTW.... I thought that the LMES Monza race was supposed to be telecast here on June 6.... As I watched SPEED on Saturday, it was on at Noon local time on JUne 5 I had to go to a family outing....and my VCR is Broke!!!!! Does anyone have ANY idea if they will show it again sometime soon???? |

I wouldn't count on it, Tim.
I taped it. I could rip it to Video CD for you if you can watch VCDs on your DVD. It was a bit monotonic, but not bad. |

I taped it also. My version is now commercial free! The coverage was bland as Paul says. And why they cut away when the battle raged at the front I will never know!

Hmmm, well, should be a long night. I think I'll volunteer to make that night my shift with the baby.
 Note also, they've resigned through to 2008 for LM coverage, which is even more great news.Tim, while I was happy to see coverage of the LMES event, the broadcast seemed to take all of the excitement from the race. Or perhaps it was just me. |

Lets see, the plane arrives at 6 pm in Dayton. I'll e home at 7. Sleep until 10. Tell the wife I'm not tired anymore, that I'm used to not getting any sleep. Time change. Jet lag. LeMans racing on the tele!

Sweet! I'll be engineering at an SCCA race, but I'm sure my wife won't mind getting up in the middle of the night to change tapes in the VCR...
