2017 Bathurst 12 hour fans dinner.
Just wanted to let everyone know at this early stage that our annual dinner will be on again on Friday Feb 3 at the usual location www.pantanosbarandgrill.com.au*@7pm.
This will be our 3rd annual dinner and I'm sure that we'll have a great turnout as we have had on the previous 2 occasions (30+) The restaurant is situated in the middle of town and has a great atmosphere with teams and drivers being regulars also. Our table this year had poor Mika Salo and Toni Vilander having to put up with us at the next table. The restaurants food is terrific with great variety, has a kids menu and is licensed (Check out the menu) A great chance for everyone to catch up again or put faces to names for the first time. It's been great that we've had the girls turn up for the dinner as it gives them the chance to talk about anything but motorsport and kids are most welcome. Friends are welcome to attend, however numbers are limited, so it's not fair on the forum members who may miss out if large numbers of friends attend (2 or 3 friends is fine) We have a booking for a tentative 30, however i can possibly get a few more spots if necessary. We had many International visitors join us earlier this year and it would be great to see more of you next year. It would help at this early stage to give me a better idea of interest if you can give me a definite "yes" or "hopeful" either on this thread or via pm. If you know how many of you may attend, then let me know. You will not be held accountable with your response or with numbers. It's too early to do a list and I'll get back to everyone down the track. If you've already let me know on the other forum, then there's no need to do it here. I'm now officially taking names for our 12 hour dinner.
Whilst it's still a long way off, I need to have a rough idea of numbers well in advance as we have a large booking and it's only fair that restaurant management has our numbers well in advance. I only want "definites" at this stage and how many of you will be attending. If your still unsure at this stage, we will still be taking names for another month or two. If you have already confirmed but your numbers change in any way, please let me know. Either post in this thread or PM me.
