KartWorld bio-ethanol
Don't think this was mentioned on the TV coverage and only got a brief mention on the circuit PA system. Jason Hughes has converted his MG to run on bio-ethanol. It was a bit of a last minute decision, Judd re-mapped the engine during the week and reported some improvements so Hughes decided to take the plunge.
Fuel flow problems in the first 2 races were eventually traced to a twisted in-line filter but thanks to the startline crash in race three we never got to see how much difference it made. |

This story has been kept very low key, in fact I only found out about it when I got home on Saturday night. I spoken to Jason earlier the day and he said nothing about the switch.

They had it on BTCC.net last week I'm sure, and in Autosport too IIRC.
