Race Tech Magazine Rallycross Features
Following on from the conversation in the tail end of the Buxtehude thread where some of you were, like me, keen to find more technical information concerning the Supercars I thought I would post this thread up, as I have found some!
I was told that Race Tech magazine included technical features on rallycross cars, so I ordered a couple of issues: they arrived yesterday and they make for pretty interesting reading. So far I have looked at issues #190, #187 and #186. 190 has a feature on the Focus RS RX, 187 looks at the Munnich Seats and 186 has a big article on ECU's and software control in World Rallycross. I actually found the ECU article the most interesting so far, as it was a subject that was discussed on here earlier in the year (when the regulations prohibited a lot of the British regulars from entering the Lydden round of the World Championship). There are features on the GRC Beetle and the EKS Audi S1 in some of the older issues, so I will try and pick those up next! Last edited by tbtstt; 28 Oct 2016 at 12:26. |
