Who makes the transaxles for Courage?

The Ultimate Car Page says that Courage builds their own gearboxes. I doubt that. I've heard that Hewland made the original LC70 gearboxes, and Xtrac makes the now ones. What's the correct statement.

Both Hewland and Xtrac make trans axles for their gear boxes.
