Graham should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Come on - spill the beans. How did it go? Hopefully better than Monza!

YES
it was better, it has rained for the razce so Minis wre in heaven.

I had troubles with my rear suspension during qualifying (15th). For the race it was better, my team mate Claude Boissy won the general in front of Warmenius Cortina and We have finished 7th. Lewis and Lewis (they were 1st) have been disqualifyed because of their rear suspension.

I am happy to see that Mini are easily in front of the best Cars under the rain : GREAT.
The matter is that technical controllers look very hard this year and they don't accept even 1% tolerance for measuring : HARD

Excellent, mate!

Is 7th a good or bad result for you?

Quite good : touring cars were all together ( TC 1 - 15). It is not so easy to beat BMW 1800 ti and Cortina Lotus or Ford Falcon under the rain.

Graham, will you be in Donigton the 15th, 16th July ? Maybe I can get tickets

Bit of an echo in here, huh? Now Craig knows it was wrong to build 10T in a sewer

Tell me what's happening at Donington.

It seems better now : I was posting but it was happening nothing.

The FIA ECHTC will come to Donington the 15/16th July.
There will be also FIA Historic Gt, Formula Junior and the Renault days with new formula renault and new clios : Great !!!

Is that the same Clios as the National Championships, or the V6 hooligans that were so much fun on Le Mans morning last year?

That was great. 35 individual V6 Clios all trying to occupy exactly the same piece of real estate at Indianapolis/Arnage at the same time.

I thought your lot weren't coming to Britain this season? Did you have a vote to come or something?

You know we appreciate you more over here

I don't know what has happened. When we were in Monza, people from Donington came and gave us entry form for the meeting : GREAT.

I really hope to see many of you there.

Florian,

Do you know whose organising the meeting, as I'm considering marshalling, as it doesn't clash with anything that I'm doing.. How many entries do you think you may have???

Maybe too good to miss!!!

Hi Dan, I hope that we will be a minimum of 30 cars. I am affraid that some people have booked for holidays.

I dont know the organiser but I will have a look today or maybe if you go on Donington website you will have some info.

Concerning the mini, It is clear that the chassis is very different from an original one : shocks, tyres, ...
Our tyres are really bad, I would like to see my car with real racing slick tyre like Mini miglia.

Exactly Ghaham,

we need to have Dunlop Racing CR65, an old racing tyre which makes our cars very slippery but very funny.
I don't know what kind of tyres they use in CSCGB ? Does anyone know ? How are they going ?

Don't mean to make you jealous Florian, but we have four mini series at Castle Combe on Monday - including the Miglias.... Excellent stuff!!

If you ever need a co-driver, you know who to ask first!!

Yes Dan. He will ask me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Florian. The CSCC Mini's run on the Dunlop D84J control tyre. This is the same for all of our classes and cars.

Gerry Marshall once told me that the handling of an Historic (Appendix K) MGB was greatly improved by putting the older style tyre on it when compared to the D84J.

I would love to come to Castle Combe to race with my mini, but we can't do everything fortunately. 2 weeks ago in Monza, Peter Baldwin was racing with a mini and he was telling us that our historic minis with CR65 were very sensitive from the rear.

I know Gerry Marshall as he drove the Etype lastweight of a friend last year in Donington : he is a really impressive driver. Cr65 are better than many tyres on some cars but I don't know for the mini as I have never drove it with different tyres.

Concerning the co-driver guys, I am not the decisionmaker. The sponsor is the guy (Thank you Dad )
