Bathurst Sweepstake
I wouldn't mind running a Bathurst Sweepstake. Say for the top 3 places.
Post your tips here and Sunday evening, see who the "winner" is. I'll start the ball rolling" 1st. Ambrose/Ingall 2nd. Skaife/Kelly 3rd. Lowndes/Seton 1st DNF: Radisich. |

I've been avoiding these types of statements but with a week to go, I may as well have my say
My heart says: 1st Lowndes/Seton 2nd Ingall/Ambrose 3rd either Winterbottom/Noske or Murphy/Kelly My head however is a different story, it remembers just how unpredictable Bathurst is and is keeping me far away from the TAB, because although I'd never place bets on this lot (can't afford to) head thinx the following are in with a very good chance: (in no particular order) Ingall/Ambrose Skaife/Kelly Richards Snr/Longhurst Murphy/Kelly Wills/Richards Richards, S./Perkins |

Dunno but the winner will either be driving a Ford or a Holden.....oh hang on I might place my money on the AUDI Safety Car.

1 Murph/Kelly (5 minutes in front of every one...)
2 Elley/Youlden 3 Skaife/Kelly Two leading Fords out in a B I G crash at XL during the first couple of laps... Just a prediction, I'll still put the dollars on Ambrose/Ingall! |

Jeez, I wonder how the team feels when the #2 mechanic on the 2nd car doesnt even have the confidence to say his boss will win the race.
Wonder how that will go round the lunchtable? |

No probs. We are only new so its understandable with no real track record. The new car really went well but still Bathurst is a fair bit different to Mallala... Still cant wait though!

Best of luck Simon. I better go, I am signing TKR's bonnet tomorrow so a little bit of me will be at Bathurst (Sorry again Simon, but I am a small sponsor of their NZ cars)

If I had my way, Sunday's results would read:
1st Lowndes/Seton 2nd Johnson/Luff 3rd Jones/Bowe but realistically... 1st Richards/Longhurst 2nd Ambrose/Ingall 3rd Lowndes/Seton Podium (or possibly victory?) darkhorse: Winterbottom/Noske |

Wow! Going the brave way William! I bet one PB hopes the Aurora is not the way to go in '03. That record is looking slightly vulnerable if it is the weapon to have this year (and next).
