Wow that's from left field...

While we have not had the opportunity to watch Peter race first-hand, he came highly recommended by Darren Turner. Mike and I have the utmost respect for Darren so when he was not able to race with us because of conflicts we discussed all of our options and decided to go with Peter.
Ding, Ding, Ding

Conflicts kept Darren Tuner out of the car.

Having not looked at the FIA GT schedule, I'm not totally sure if this is the last time we see the "driver shuffle" in the PWL Ferrari this season

Hmm, could this conflict exist as well... AM returning to ALMS?
Probably not... FIA GT and ALMS race same weekend.

Kai has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Well FIA GT has nothing to do with what he is talking about, it does however, have to do with Dirk Muller. Will he be driving for AF Corse or Petersen/White Lighting that weekend?

Darren's BTCC schedule conflicts with LMS Spa 19/8 (Brands) and would be really tight for ALMS Detroit 30/8-1/9 (Knockshill 2/9). The only conflict between ALMS,LMS and FIA GT is ALMS Laguna 20/10 and FIA GT Zolder 21/10 I think.

If I am not mistaken Darren has commitments in the BTCC. It has nothing to do directly with FIA GT, but Kai is correct that Muller drives for AF Corse as well and that's why I said this is more than likely not the last time you see the driver shuffle in that car, like what happen to Risi last season.

i'd be doubtful to see darren on the first day at Detroit, or at least not the morning. Seat won't let him go race a Ferrari over their tourer, no way.

Really? I wonder if they race home? I also wonder who'd win? In traffic, probably Dumbreck, especially if he had a Merc- I mean, everyone would be fast through traffic if they could fly

I was just going to ask if Dumbreck wasn't the gent that launched a Merc on Mulsanne in 1999 and you've already answered my question.

Actually, Dumbreck's Merc took off on the run down to Indianapolis/Arnage. Mark Webber's, however, did the same two times on the Mulsanne.

Now that Road America is in the past, how would everyone rate Peter Dumbreck's debut with PWL? I believe that Mueller did most of the driving, but did you all think he was OK or not?

First time it didnt flip , just lifted up and landed and bust the suspension , second time it did a full flip and landed on its wheels , third time it landed on its roof !!!
