Here are your Qualifying results:
Drewdawg picked Dario for the pole for 2 pts. drdisque was closest to the speed: Actual - 214.646 dr - 214.804 In the "Top Six," drewdawg & NAC both had 7 pts., OpenWheel had 6 pts. and all others had 5 pts. All picked Duno as the slowest qualifier (Surprise!) for 2 pts each OpenWheel was closest to the speed: Actual - 206.006 OW - 207.599 By getting both the driver & speed, OW also got 2 bonus pts. Alwaysfirst and NAC both had Danica as the "Just Miss" for 2 pts., and Peno, drdisque and OW had a driver in the Top Six for 1 pt each. Results: 1. OpenWheel - 11 pts. (tie) NAC - 11 pts. Here are your race results:
Alwaysfirst, drewdawg and OpenWheel all had Dario for 2 pts each. in the "Top Five," drewdawg had 5 pts, NAC, Alwaysfirst and OpenWheel all had 4 each, drdisque and Peno had 3 each No one had Hideki Mutoh for the "fast Lap"...The IRL did.... Peno got 2 pts for being closest: Actual - 216.646 Peno - 216.981 OpenWheel won the weeknd in this category...he picked ALL FOUR correctly for 8 pts. AlwaysFirst had 4 pts and drewdawg and NAC had 2 each. No one had Marco as 1st out No one had Rice as the "Mover:" 19th to 9th No one had Manning as the "Fall": 8th to 21st (Marcos was necxt (10th to 22nd) drdisque won the Avg. Congrats to drdisque for a convincing win and to all who moved up places in the final points weekend...
The race for spots was competitive in these final weeks, just like the IRL was....I do wish that Flavinha would've enteed, thoug....she was in the hunt for a good finish....also to marcus, for missing wweks when he was in contention. See you next year! |

Well at least I finished the season with the highest average points per race. Now if only I hadn't missed quite as many races! Oh well, must try harder next year! Well done to all who finished above me.
