The championships may be settled in Formula 1, but they are not in the predictions contest.

Congratulations to Born Racer Fan on her second win of the season, which keeps her in championship contention going into the final round in Abu Dhabi.

Every driver she had in the top ten finished there, but the obvious anomaly of Ocon, who everyone put in theirs, although of the rest of the results, she only had the dry weather predicted correctly.

For most, qualifying predictions went badly, with only wolfhound, smellysocks and F1Guy predicting anyone in their right place, with Räikkönen, Vettel and Vettel respectively.

In terms of finishing positions, all those predicted were either in their exact place, one, two or three places out, with the exception of wolfhound and smellysocks who respectively predicted Vettel and Ricciardo four places out.

After a dry spell, wolfhound and smellysocks predicted that Williams would get the fastest pit stop (it was with Stroll), who took their eight of the season, second only to Mercedes this year.

Only Notso Swift and smellysocks correctly predicted the Rate the Grand Prix score, while no-one predicted either the driver or team of the Grand Prix. Championship leader F1Guy was the only person who predicted that Lewis Hamilton would top the formula1.com poll.

Going into the title decider in Abu Dhabi, mathematically the top five competitors are in contention, but realistically it looks like being a battle between F1Guy and Born Racer Fan, with the latter an outside possibility. F1Guy holds a fourteen point lead, quite a strong one, but not beyond the realm of imagination to overcome.
