Andy Priaulx Stamps

Having heard it mentioned on Eurosport today about the set of stamps issued by the Guernsey Post Office I had a look on their site (and ordered a set).

They look pretty good.

http://www.guernseypost.com/news/article/?id=28 that has some info and a link to another site, that doesnt seem to be working right now.

They do look quite nice though

Edit: that site I linked to says "They will not be on sale through Guernsey Post outlets or available to order."

but that seems a bit silly to me, surley selling them outwith the circuit (they're avaliable at Brands this weekend) would have a far greated benifit for his charity, hmm - perhaps i've misinterpreted though.

That was only for the personally signed versions.

Didn't know there are on sale at Brands, down there tomorrow.

Hazard,

Only if they have race cars on them

Ha!

I was watching the coverage today and thinking I'll need to get a set of them.

Then I realised that'd make me a stamp collector!!!

A stamp collector has way more than one set of stamps though.

They have books of the bloody things, all in slightly diffferent shades, variations.

I will never be like that....NEVER! Mark that down as a Knowlesy prediction.

I just went for the standard 1st day cover as it has quite a nice envelope as well.

lol, its looking like a worse and worse idea now

Its wierd, I have no particular interest in Andy Priaulx, and yet I (like many others I imagine) really like the fact that he has been recognised for his acheivements in such a unique way.

I guess it shows a lot of people, while not being outright "supporters" of Andy (and ofcourse, we know where my loyalties lie in this seasons WTCC!), greatly admire what a fantastic job he's done.

They were on sale at the WTCC merchandise stand at Brands. Looked like the souvenir fist day cover set (the £3.35 one on the website). £10 unsigned or £20 signed.
