Kyosho Mini-Z, 1/12 models you can race
Has anyone got one of these 1/12 racing models? They are R/C and run on AA batteries, but they are also fully adjustable and can be upgraded. I thinking about getting one. I can post pictures if anyone wants to see one.

We have several racers who purchased them. Here is what I have seen. They look great and are pretty quick for their size. However, everyone of them has experienced a steering servo failure early on. I do not know if Kyosho has changed the servo mechanism to cure this or just replaces them with the same parts. The steering is full or none, no fine steering corrections. I think Kyosho has changed this with the F1 Mini-Z cars.
I am going to purchase an HPI Micro car later this month as I believe it is a better bargain. Just my opinion. |

Yes, I was thinking about the RS4 Micro, but there is a Scalextric club near me with an 8 lane track, 1/24th Scale.
