Bosch MS 2.7
Im looking for documentation for the Bosch MS 2.7 injection system used in the late 80s early 90s. Talked to Bosch Motorsport, but quite unwilling to help me.
Accessories for the MS 2.7 would for example be. Display Control Unit - B261 205 271 Display - DI 08 Funkmodul - B61 205 877 |

Hi, yes looks like the Display unit and ECU that i've seen before. However this one seems to have connections for turbo boost as well. I have only seen these boxes in N/A cars before.

Checked my documents and this is most likely a MS 1.7 box. But they look the same though, and functions like for example the LCD display is probably the same.

Ah okay. I have seen a similar system in an Eggenberger Sierra, also turbo boosted of course.
Are you trying to diagnose a problem, or reprogram one of these? Conrad |

Im trying to replicate the functionality of the display unit, but i cant find any documentation for it. Also looking for a defect MP 1.7 or MS 2.7 box. Just the casing would do. In some cases when two display units was used, one seem to have been used for sensor info (water, oil etc and the other one for lap info (pos, lap time etc)
Eggenberger together with Grab and Ringhausen, i think all used the MP 1.8 box in their cars from up to 89 in the DTM. Its physically a smaller box. The Audi V8 also used the very same box |

If I was you I'd probably keep trying the different numbers at the bottom of this Bosch MS ECU's PDF.
http://www.bosch-motorsport.de/conte...2786293515.pdf It states that they will identify your unit if you provide them with the serial number and it also lists the different cars each version was used in which may offer a few more avenues to explore.. failing that, If you manage to speak to the right person in the right mood on the right day you might just get lucky. Good luck! Last edited by Zico; 6 Dec 2011 at 19:37. |

Which informations are still needed? The DIS08 can have different functions.
Some projects had two - one for engine values like engine rpm, throttle, temperatures...and one was called VMG - Verbrauchsmessgeraet. Fuel consumption device. Documentation on the 80´s and 90´s was the source code. If you need detailed infos, I can have look in the code - if i can find the files for this project. Regards |
