The name of the Busch race is Nicorette 300... just thought I'd, you know, mention that
Jayski has posted the entry list, which features 45 cars gunning for the 43 spots (the #32 is missing because it was first removed from the entry list then re-added with Michael Waltrip driving - Jayski mentions this but has seemingly not had a chance to update the list yet). Worth noting is that more than half of the entries are Buschwhackers... In a way I reckon that tells you something about the health of the Busch Series. |

Sure wish I could see it on TV. Just got home, and judging by the image on the front page at NASCAR.com, with McMurray being airborne, it looks like there's been some excitement so far tonight.
Seems Montoya is having a great run so far, running 8th at the moment. |

Caution out. Todd Kleuver has crashed. About 25 laps to go.
Montoya is up to 7th. Hornish Jr. is up to 17th and Ambrose is down in 28th. |

Congratulations to Jeff Burton on winning the Nicorette 300 ahead of Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch who came from 16th to 3rd in the last 25 laps after the final caution.
Carl Edwards finished 4th while Casey Mears grabbed the 5th spot. Juan Pablo Montoya finished a solid 8th. Sam Hornish Jr. finished 15th and Marcos Ambrose finished 28th, 3 laps down. |

It great to see ESPN/ABC finally gave Marcos some good TV time! Pity he (mainly the car of course) wasn't too good come race time.

I enjoyed the fight between Montoya and Hornish early on, in which JPM seemed intent on getting as sideways as possible for as long as possible.

Kyle Busch had by far the best car but had to come back in the pits due to a lug nut problem and then had to restart 16th and ran out of laps trying to get back in the lead. I was glad to see Burton win it though.

.. Wouldve been better to have seen Kyle Busch come from that far back n win.. But looks like as he was passing Edwards he had used all his stuff up n just held onto 3rd
