BARC Mallory, 10th May

Caterham Graduates are putting a voucher for the "Le Mans" experience at Mallory into the marshals' draw at our meeting there - demo laps in a MkII Jag, then you get to drive a DB6, E-type, D-type and a Healy. Hope to see lots of you there for some full grids action!

Really looking forward to this meeting. Always good entertainment from the Caterhams, the 2CV's never cease to amaze how close they can draft each other.
thanks for the raffle prize.

Hope there's not a weight limit

Fred Bromley is the cheif marshal for this one. According to the instructions I got.
His e-mail is barcfb@gmail.com
I'm sure you won't have a problem though if the tickets don't turn up in time.
See you there

Sorry I'd love to be there especially after the displays put on by the Caterhams & the 2CV's at this mornings Test session but duty calls and I shall spend the weekend @ Donny.

Even if it wasn't duty for you Dave I know that it would have been a really difficult decsion for you.
Taking the better half & 2 kids with me for only their 2nd meeting. They actually asked to go this time because they enjoyed the last one so much.
Getting hooked?

Was looking at this on the internet yesterday. Someone's in for a treat, thanks to the Graduates. Still a bit too far for me for one day.

As the very lucky ( and surprised ) winner of the " Le Mans " experience voucher, so generously donated by the Caterham Graduates drivers, I would like to say thanks very much to you all.

I'm sure that I'll enjoy the day.

Thanks also for the exciting racing on Sunday too.

THANKS

Hi,

Thanks for all the hard work by ALL those who were at this meeting. Although we were not exactly over manned(over personned!) all the incidents were handled efficiently with skill and expertise.
I hope you all enjoyed the day, even poor Jason who spent the day on his own on post-9! The marshals on post-10 did wander down and say hello between sessions to make sure he was not asleep!

See you at the next one.

SWCRacing has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Fred
Just like to add my thanks to all the marshals at the meeting.

However, one nasty event has soured my enjoyment of the races. When loading my car onto my trailer to come home, I noticed the handbrake wasn't working very well (no surprise there as its an old trailer and can be tempremental). When I looked at it this morning I was alarmed to notice that someone had stolen the threaded rod that links the braking system together!! Wouldn't have come apart by itself as there were locking nuts on it, so someone did it deliberately. Could have been very dangerous!!

There are some right tw*ts in this world, and its just a shame that there wers some at Mallory this weekend
