Could it be San Remo 1948? First win for the 4CLT/48

On reflection it can't be San Remo. With the poor resolution it's hard to recognise the driver. Ascari won san Remo and this isn't Ascari.
I don't think they used Bremgarten in 1947-48. Carrying on the Swiss idea, could it be the Prix de Nations at Berne? If so then the driver would be Farina. BTW K-M, what's the prize this time? |

Sorry, freudian slip, I was trying to suggest Farina winning the 1948 Prix des Nations at Geneva.
But I'm not certain. Can't anybody help our Russian friend win his quiz? Last edited by D-Type; 6 Jun 2003 at 20:28. |

Not Farina at the GP des Nations - his car in that race was a 4CLT, not a 4CLT/48

Is this another competition question?
KM. I believe you are a motorsport fan but you are using the good offices of our friends to benefit you in a competition. If you really want to know things at least be honest. Why not ask for directions to the relevant sources instead of asking direct questions? You may find that the competition becomes secondary to your enjoyment of the information. Give it a try. Dosvidanya. You would also be welcome to visit and make a contribution to other threads. |

Ya pinemya.
I meant it though. Try to use the forum for fun rather than gain. And good luck with the quiz. |

Peter's right you know, theres so much knowledge and information here and alot of it is both interesting and fascinating!
I love hearing the old stories particularly since the best years of racing happenned when i was a little child or before i was born! |
