How Many Le Mans For You?
OK, probably asked many times before, but it always intrigues me how Le Mans, as an event, nay, an experience, is one which is so addictive.
So, how many times have you been to the 24 Heures du Mans? If you fit into one of the 'between' categories, please say how many in your post. For me, 23. It will be my 24th 24 this year. First Le Mans was in 1986 - been back every year since I consider myself very lucky. |

At 2 (with this year being my third) I don't quite qualify as a Le Mans virgin, but I suspect in comparison with most people posting here this will only bring me into the category of blushing inexperienced person.
That said, it only took one visit to convince me of what a fantastic weekend it was and for it become distinctly habit forming. |

This'll be my 14th visit. 16th if my two visits to Classic Le Mans are included. Went there in '96 on a whim and never considered not going after...
To me,whenever we arrive a few days before the weekend,it really feels like coming home. Best party in the year. |

If you are counting test weekends too , then I would be at 22 . But I think its just about the 24 hours itself ? I first got there in 1989 ..... and as someone said above , it didnt take long to convinve me that it is one of the highlights of my year too . I just love the whole place , the town , the food and atmosphere . Its the complete sportscar experiance , all in one . I even said that when I pass away , I want my ashs scattered at Tetre Rouge , but the miss's aint having none of that !!! |

All ready said before, I've been to ten, this year will be my eleventh.
I also went to qualifying when I was 4 in 1998, which got me to really fall in love with the place. I had just turned 2 when I went to scutineering in 1996 - I can just about remember those fantasticly coloured Gulf McLaren F1s. |

I went for the first time last year, and have already purchased tickets for this year as well. I will go every year that I have the means to do so. The Brit fans took such good care of me last year, ensuring I never went without a drink all weekend, what more could I ask for?

Since then been to every one bar last year when I did the classic instead. I shall return this year for my 29th (if I count the classic)!! |

This year will be my 26th 24 Heures du Mans. First time was in 1984, the great group C period. As Ayse said, I consider myself rather lucky.
Maybe, I will miss the race once ; then I will have a revenge with Spa (1000 kms and 24H). |
