Foodman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
When will Garry Rogers decide on his 2006 driver?

Who do you think grm will choose to be the driver for 2006? I know that there has been a bit of talk on this topic already but he is really the only one with a seat that has no possible contenders. I have my idea of who it will be...

IIRC Rogers suggested looking abroad/OS for a driver. Not too many options there. I'd like to see Luke Youlden or Owen Kelly get a go, but its likely Ritter will get the gig.

Yeah, Ritz needs a good Commie. And Dean Canto would be a good team mate.

Ritter has had his chances (then again, so has Canto.....). If he was looking overseas for a driver he's left it abit late.....

Maybe he's just having trouble finding someone who wants to drive the second string GRM machine

THAT would be very surprising considering PCR have two good steerers in Luff and Scifleet

Holdsworth would be a logical choice, and on another forum, Placebo made mention of Max Wilson as a good candidate.

Garry is just waiting to see the availability of a couple of drivers. Regarding an overseas driver maybe this driver was just born overseas or even is just currently holidaying overseas.

TheMan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Just read your post Pete and it struck me as funny. Ellery was apparantly out of the country around the time of your post and I was told only just got back. I wander if there is more to this.

Hmm, Canto and Ellery are both ex Triple 8, both had cars in the DV8, now team mates? I would like to see that

Depending on what happens at Team Dynamik and being aware of the rumour that Oscar is moving to GRM what are the chances of one MR O Kelly being there as well????

Dont know who is the favourite at present to partner Canto st GRM but I am hearing third & fourth hand that neither Luff or Scifleet are at PCR next year so there are two more options for Gary to consider. Luffy did a great job considering he was an absolute rookie when he started at DJR in 2004 (No V8 development experience to fall back on like all of the other recent debutants, just a few enduro rides) before he was dumped for Seton (who has now been dumped for Davison - is there a pattern forming here ???) and Scifleet has proven a well driven AU can still foot it with the newer BA's.

There's still plenty of talent out there waiting for a chance to shine.......

I know the Ford boys will want to smash me,but I think it would be Seton's best remaining option.

Im not BIG Seto fan, but he is a good steerer...not sure how quick these days, but wouldnt be a bad pickup for GRM and a good stir with my Seton and Ford supporting mates.

Personally I would take Ellery, surely his lasy year was his best ever and he still cant get a drive.....hmmmmmm what does this tell you?

Wow, glad you didn't actually put the letters " GRM " and the words " Best remaining option " in the same sentence, the earth may have stopped spinning and the planet exploded !.

Running a David Thexton prepared EA Falcon in this years series would be a better option than driving for GRM, their fast becoming the WPS of Holden.

Do WPS racing have lots of money or not? Why don't they poach Campbell Little, sign up for Stone Brothers engines etc or similar??? ????In which case not such a bad option?????

There is a theory... where the way you have a lot of money is not to spend it. You can have it available, you can take it as cash. But nothing actually forces you to part with it.

I seriously doubt that SBR would entertain a WPS supply deal... the other 3 deals were nailed together with the help of Ford, so that may limit the chances of WPS here.... better bet may be to buy in FPR engines.. they have $1m worth of Superflow dyno to look after only 3 chassis... might as well make some commercial income...

Hmmm lets weigh this up....

A ride in a Britek Falcon, a chassis he driove in anger 3 years ago... or a brand new factory Holden with all the might of the Walkinshaw mob.

No contest surely?
