Upgrading Club

Morning All

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on an upgrade matter!

If you have previously upgraded through BARC for example, do you have to then go through them again for the next upgrade or can you just hand it in to your club?

Your upgrades are processed through whichever is your primary club (i.e. The first one listed on your MSA card).

You can if you wish change your primary club by writing to the MSA

I don't think MSA care which club processes your upgrade. My upgrade to "Track" went through BRSCC as I was member at the time. They remain listed first on my MSA card although I am no longer a member. My more recent upgrade to "Experienced" went through BMMC. Nobody seemed bothered who my prime club is.

On an upgrading matter, can I just ask...If I want to be assessed for upgrade to Track Marshal (Green) do I need to check with someone if that's ok before the weekend, or is it ok just to ask at sign on?

Hi Heather,

always best to check first. If at Oulton Park and Nadine is doing the allocations, she can then put you with an Examining Post Chief.

She would need to know in advance due to the fact that there could be multiple "upgraders" and not enough examiners.

Hope that helps you.

Elliot.

Hi Heather,

I have noted your upgrade request and will inform Nadine. As Elliot has kindly pointed out we will have only 5 XPCs on Saturday so we will do our best I try to place them at good spots such as Water Tower

Cheers Ian (& Elliot)! Mmm, Water Tower....Just lots of oil dressing then eh?! Reading through my book now to make sure I can remember everything I need to!

See you Saturday!

Upgrade

Hi Heather

You might have just dressed oil at the last event, But the drivers can and do get it totally bits up at any post around the track. It is just that some corners are like magnets to the cars,
you just never know.
I think you will do ok, and we will check your answers when we see you next.
