Snips1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Good MIPS news

AFS racing has added Luyendyk Jr and G.J. Mennen who did 14 races for the team in 2002-2003 to the Phoenix 100 this weekend, plus Abbott wa better than Hemelgarn/Johnsson expected and therefore they have decided to add the Phoenix race to her schedule

Looks like 14 solid cars, could be 15 with Unser in the last Stewart car

(and don't forget Michael Andretti hs said his son Marco will drive in the ST. Pete MIPS race....)

I thought Marco was in Atlantics? I'd think that some strings are being pulled.

Seems Marco will just do two road course races this year - this is what the IndyStar reports:

Andretti to Pro Series

The Indy Racing League has added another member of the Andretti family to its driver lineup.

Marco Andretti, the 18-year-old son of Michael Andretti, will make his debut in the Menards Infiniti Pro Series during the series' April 3 race in St. Petersburg, Fla. The car will be fielded by Andretti Green Racing, making its debut in the Pro Series.

The younger Andretti, who won 11 races on his way to last year's Formula TR Pro Series title, also is expected to participate in the Pro Series' June 19 road-course race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Strings being pulled? Marco wants to race in MIPS and untill the new car that AGR bought is ready Dusenberg Racing will test him and run him at St. Pete. If he shows enough talent Michael may elect to run him in the Freedom 100.

What strings are benig pulled?
