Different look Mitsubishi line up for Rally GB
2002 British S1600 champion Justin Dale will replace Alister McRae whilst the Scot recuperates from the mountain bike accident in September.
The Mitsubishi team will consist of Dale, Jani Paasonen, and Francois Delecour. Delecour will be co-driven by his regular gravel-noter Dominique Savignoni, as Daniel Grataloup recovers from their Australian accident. It'll be interesting to see how Justin does. The Lancer WRC is somewhat different to his S1600 Peugeot. |

Methinks Mitsubishi/Daimlerchysler management is _not_ happy with the teams performance. I don't think they'll be around much longer.

Paasonen recorded the first stage win for Evo VII in New Zealand. If Justin Dale makes as good, or better impression in Network Q, maybe Cowan should dump both Delecour and McRae.

Heh, Alister's the Ralf Schumacher of WRC, I wouldn't exactly cry if I saw him dropped.

Paasonen is a star in the making I think. I think he is better than Delecour or McRae, just give him a full ride next year and he will be fine. He's Finnish isnt he?!

I was impressed with Paasonen in NZ and I think he's got a future. But I'm not convinced about McRae Lite; I'm with Lee on this one. If his name was Alister McAlister he'd have been fired by now.
