Riggens/Machavern Mustang third overall and on the same lap as the two DP cars at the end, I believe. Good show Tommy!

i saw the race, and it wasn't to bad- but that roval is hideous.
perhaps when they do these they should bring in artificial scenery to make the course morse obvious or something, because uck concrete jungle. Boris Said way in a trans-am car, Mustang- and it was in what class GTS? and he was hammering the DP's wow, those trans-am cars really have toughness built in. |

I'm still watching Grand Am, and I'm trying to keep an open mind.....
The Mustangs were torching the DPs.....it amazed me how Boris Said and the Rigins entry were quicker on all aspects of the track...much smoother in the road sections and faster on the oval segments... Sorry, but they have a LONG way to go to make this kind of racing farce appealing to me.... But I'll tune in to watch the 6 hours at The Glen...I'll give them every chance this season to see if they can make this something I will continue to watch...thus far, big "thumbs Down!" |

Regardless of your opinion of the machinary, congrats to the 58 car. They deserved it. Four differant winners now, looks more like what the DPs are supposed to be about doesn't it? If GA was last year's ALMS, it would be Joest wins, Joest wins, Joest wins, Panoz wins, Joest wins......

I'm not a fan of the DPs, but if the races are pleasant to follow that's allright... too bad we don't have any image of the races in France... |

Jack Baldwin seemed drunk in the broadcast booth.
Only four DPs, outran by a Trans Am mustang for much of the race. Forest Barber needs to up his game to help Terry. DPs still look slow and underpowered. BMW Pichio needs more reliability. |

Baldwin needs to guard his comments a little more carefully. By complaining of the lack of horsepower after Said mad the pass for the lead, I'm sure the Speed TV/ GA PR guys handed his ass to him a little. He's right though.
