Here is a photo of the Kincraft taken in 1968 at Snett with Jim Moore at the wheel. Now that IS a REAL racing car!
And yes to my friend in NZ, that is the same Stan Matthews in the F100 at Brands. thanks!

It isn't Jackie Oliver in the number 17, but Pedro Rodriguez.
BRM had 3 cars at the Monaco Grand Prix in 1970:
15 for George Eaton
16 for Jackie Oliver
17 for Pedro Rodriguez

But anyway nice pictures, Pedro Rodriguez and Joseph Siffert are one of my alltime favourites.
I met "Seppi's" sohn last weekend at a German Renault Clio race at Zolder (Belgium).
His eyes are the same as his dad.
Nice period.
Grand prix racing was nice until late 80's and now it's to commercial.

Good pictures Racing Fxgt. 1970 was the year I saw my first grand prix, at Brands Hatch, so the photos bring back happy memories. The P153 BRM looked very purposeful and the 312B Ferrari was a real beauty. Both sounded fantastic but there's one noise in particular that stays with me from Brands. Thursday morning practice had just begun, we were clambering into the grandstands opposite the pits and Jean-Pierre Beltoise came wailing past in the shrill V12 Matra. I'm not sure my ear drums have ever recovered!

I too, well remember that sound at Brands - and to hear it flat chat - down the main straight into Pilgrims Drop!!!! Well - it's a sound of tried to describe to younger race fans for years.

And as a permanent memory of that weekend, I have a whole bunch of photos I took whilst walking around the paddock getting my programme signed (still got that too) by almost everyone there.

Wonderful memories.

WOW! How cool is that fourth picture? I am not sure what that car is, most likely it's at the Nurburgring, could it be Jackie Stewart (I think that's his helmet) in a BRM H16 in 1966/67?

More good pictures racing fxgt! I like the Ferrari pit shot - I wonder where that is. The chap on the right is head mechanic Borsari, I think, and in the background I reckon that's Mike Parkes alongside old Enzo.
That 1969 Graham Hill shot...is that coming up from that left hander at Jarama? Hard to tell.

There will be a lot of people missing a lot of good "60's" pics here.

Would you look for pics of 60's Grand Prix cars in a thread called "1970 Grand Prix"?
