Think that in 1970 season when Bond was run by Lotus his regular team mate was Dave Walker but that Tony Trimmer also had a go.

Yes, I'd have said Dave Walker as well. From the outside their Lotus 59s loked like pukka works efforts, in full GLTL colours.

Yes, that's him. He had a Merlyn F3 which he raced all over Europe in 1967 (prepared by P&M I guess?) then he stepped back to FF in 1968, driving for Russell-Alexis and then, towards the end of the year, Lotus. This led to a works-backed FF drive in 1969 and then some promising F3 drives towards the end of the year, which secured him the works F3 seat for 1970.

He became very good in F3 and was absolutely unbeatable in 1971, which got him a works F1 drive with Lotus in 72. Unfortunately, things didn't work out and his career went into decline after that, mainly because of a major road accident which saw him nearly lose an arm. He's back in Oz now, running a charter boat company.
