Have you 380 000 € ?

At this adress, you'll see the new Courage LMP 675, available for 380 000 €, without engine :

http://www.lemans.maville.com/actu/D...22525&idCLA=53

Lower than the LMP 900, waiting for a 4 cylinders, as... well, let's say an MG engine ?

Lee Janotta should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Nah, MG's been done, too unreliable. Needs a rally car engine, a 2.0L Peugot most likely.

Though I'd fancy a flat four Subaru myself.

Sorry but M. Courage says that the AER engine will in fact be the powerplant of choice.

How does this compare against a competitive GT car?

No problem, I'll had 2.5 more... any partners ? Ayse, do something !

The Peugeot engine was not so bad in the WR this year (remember he was in the lead of 675 two laps before the end...) and seems quite reliable...

What about a small Judd engine ?

Will the rotative Mazda one will disapear after the great performance of the AutoExe ?

How does this compare price wise to the MG/Lola?
as for a motor, I would how about the Skoda rally engine, based on VW as per Roc but would come with a bagful of money from VAG.

No it won't - there is a rotary-powered Lola B2K/40 in ALMS; let's hope it will make more regular appearances next season.

Is it efficient and reliable in ALMS ? I'd like to see it back at LM, with more luck than this year race...

The car is nice ; pity that the "gallery" link seems not working (at least for me...)...

More generaly, as I posted in the "ditch the proto" thread, I like the idea of seeing on the track very different technical choices... the opposite of F1, I'd say (nothing against F1 here, no offense should, really).

A family friend works at Longbridge I will have a word and see if he can lay his hands on MG engine, which is not required anymore
