Julian Westwood-Welshman
any idea where Julian Westwood (the man from the valleys) may be hiding these days..
i remember him working with Parker F3 and inparticular Simon Pullan. |

Apparently, he's one of the two so far to have signed up to the Seat championship (even though Seat managed to send out a release today saying they have 12 drivers committed to their series but refused to name any of them in it).

Last time I saw him he was working as an instructor on trackadys and trying to persude his Dad to 'invest' yet more money in his racing...

Spoke to Julian last season and he was doing some driver coaching for a Formula 3 driver, at that time he was looking for a touring car drive

Good driver; better then half the w*nkers who bought their way into the 2003 Champcar series.....
BTW, what ever happened to Jason Elliott, another good driver lost in the budget wars..... |

And you don't think Julian paid for his FF1600, F3, F3000 drives. Since his dad pulled the Datamatic plug, he can't get a drive. Nuff said.

You seemed to have forgotten he raced in touring cars (a bit) and won the Vauxhall Vectra championship.
And yes, he is still instructing from time to time, but has a thriving buisness to look after (not connected to his dad either) |
