Your sarcasm seems to be rather biting!  Or did I read that wrong?This is only the second time that I have heard anyone mention The Call. Is this only myth, or are there people around who can substantiate it (Jimmy Spencer?!?!?)? |

"The Call" is a total myth in my opinion. When something happens that seems to fit a script, it is attributed to "The Call". When I said that would be great, I meant it would be great if Kyle won the race. I don't think that will happen.

It's a myth plain and simple.
Kyle at first wasn't even going to go, even if it could be offered (and it can't), I doubt very much if he would want to cheapen the memory of his son by accepting. |

You watch the media critics of NASCAR when Kyle doesn't win. They will be nowhere. If they really believe that NASCAR gives team "The Call" and if they have concrete evidence that this goes on, then their arse should write nasty articles for why NASCAR didn't rig the race for Kyle as they supposedly did for Junior. But you won't hear a peep from these idiots.

Interestingly enough, Kyle Petty was one of the few drivers who actually spoke about "The Call" on the record a few years back. I don't think he's been back to victory lane since.
