ChampCar cares?

Or ChampCar realises it's good PR to be seen to help?

Whatever the motivation, all credit to them for getting involved.

Disasters like this show us how trivial sport really is - and how we should keep things in perspective.

Well done to ChampCar.

You probably can ask that to anyone famous who helps...

Or any major organization. It's good PR for the Red Cross, and for the US government. That doesn't make it any less of a good deed.

No, I didn't say it did lessen it.

And as I say, well done ChampCar.

When an organization announces that they are going to help in a charity, be it a company, the government, a racing series, or an individual person, there is an element of PR that naturally happens.

Well done for sure! I believe in the Power of One - perhaps more help will follow from others now thanks to ChampCar.
