Peter Sauber: No room for Jos

Just after the race, Peter Sauber said on dutch TV that Jos would not be driving as a spare driver for Sauber this year.
Although it is possible to change the (newer) cars so that he will fit in, because of the difference in length it would not be possible to have a T-car which could be used by both drivers.

Yeah! Because a least Jos runs over the competition and not his team-mates!

Correct.
So it's probably wise to have a third driver who actually fits in the cars they are using today.

I thought after all his visits a seat was on the cards? His manager thinks that he will get a seat this season, im not so sure though?

"it wouldn't surprise me to see him race halfway through the season."

This is coming from the guy who knew and had a conformation from the team that his driver was going to drive for Arrows?
