Yannick should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
One old and one new

Here are two tracks which I'd like to hear your opinion about:

The first one is a fairly recent redrawing of an old track from my archive, which I've posted here before in black and white, but unfortunately to zero resonance. Now it's here again - this time in colour.
The track's name is 'Green Valley Eco Circuit', and it is located somewhere in the south of England. This is not a home for your ordinary racing car. Track owners allow only such vehicles on their track, which are powered by advanced, ecological engineering, like solar cells, hydrogen cells, 100% rape oil engines, etc.
The paddock is located down in the valley, whereas the long corner on the top right hand side of the diagram is atop the hill and from there, the track begins to wind downhill again.

I'm a bit worried when it comes to the overtaking opportunities on this track, and that's why I'd like to ask you if it would be necessary to edit the track to promote overtaking. Track length is around 6.5 kilometers.

The 2nd one is a relatively new drawing of an early to mid-1990s era Grand Prix circuit. It's around 5 kilometers in length, and I'm not sure if it's any good. Somehow, it looks a little Tilke-ish to me. The working title is "The Grand Bow". I haven't thought about elevation changes so far. Take a look and feel free to edit if you like. Thanks.

All cool - but the name of your first track still puzzles me and your pitlane entry looks overly-complicated. Not that I'm any judge - but that's my view! Nice, all-in-all.

I like them both Yannick.

The first one is perhaps the weaker of the two, composed almost entirely of increasing radius corners, and an odd final turn.
The second one is more diverse, and parts are reminiscent of the the East London circuit in South Africa, and Salzburgring in Austria; it's a real driver's circuit too.

Does that mean I sneeze every time a car powered by this stuff goes by?

Rapeseed is the only thing in the world that gives me hayfever.

Thanks for the replies, fellow MyTrackers!

@Chiefy: Eco does not refer to Umberto, but is an abbreviation for the word ecological. Maybe it's down to me not being a native speaker that I got something wrong here?
And the pitlane entry just runs across the gravel trap of the final chicane in a
rather long-winded way. Do you have any suggestions how to best shorten that pitlane entry?

@Rockmunky: I've always liked coming up with weird concepts for my fantasy tracks. This track is quite ordinary, but I thought I could make it something special with a weird backstory. And with Honda now promoting the protection of the environment, an ecological vehicle racing club isn't too far away. And they will need a circuit ;-)

@Pirenzo: the first one is a redrawing of an "outtake" from the archive that has a blot shape that I considered too beautiful to throw away.
Please tell me which parts of the 2nd one you think resemble East London and Salzburgring. Thanks.

@SBF: No, that means the smell of the cars is meant to have a positive effect on the sales of fried food around the circuit ;-)

East London - map
From turns 1 to 2, and the bit behind the pits, are quite similar to a mirror of East London.

Salzburgring - map
turns 10 to 12 remind me of the final few corners of this track.

@Pirenzo: Oh yes, now I see the resemblances, too. Thanks for your reply.
