VSC
I applaud everyone for working on this solution, seems a workable and fair method of enforcing speeds during yellow periods. I assume it just means a full course yellow and once clear they resume where they are. No benefit gained or lost but no need to bunch up or let the lapped cars through.
But, I was under the impression the drivers already had a button for speed restriction while under "live" safety car periods in order to keep them within the speed window. They had a set amount of time (like 5 seconds) from SC being displayed to hit the button or get down to the required maximum speed/distance through zones. |

VSC to the best of my knowledge will only apply to a limited section of track. The drivers will have to drive this section above a certain time. The time is based on where on a track the section in question is and the length involved.
I think it is a good idea but I think something like a code 60 would be easier to use and understand. |

Vettel and Maldonado liked it at austin, Grosjean had trouble with it.

But then F1 being F1 had to go with something more complicated to show they do things in a more sophisticated way. |
