Ch10 do not have the rights to broadcast the full WSBK races. They have the rights to show a 30 minute highlight package at a later date. They did this for the first couple of rounds, but the package was rubbish. Take out adds and fillers and you got about 15 minutes of highlights to cover 2 x 45 minute races.

I didn't say they had the rights to show the WSBK races in full.

Is that a fact? I know they did that last year (I can't remember earlier years) but that dosn't mean that they had the rights that would only let them show it like that.

Are you talking about this year? They havn't shown it for any rounds this year. Not even for the Australian round. I know they did that for all or most rounds last year. I think they had full 1 week delayed coverage of the Australian round.

Aussie Racing Cars are on SBS today, they only on SBS when they are at non-v8 events, so this weekend last time we will see them on T.V for the year at this stage

Because ARC won't pay Channel 10 the asking price for the footage/dedicated program to be made.

Re: World Superbikes - Fox Sports hold the deal to show the series in Australia, if Channel 10 (or anyone else) want to show the races, they must deal with Foxtel.

FOX Sports - Tuesday August 22

4.30pm - World Touring Car Championship Round 4 (Fox Sports 1)
5.00pm - International GT Open Round 2 (Fox Sports 2)
8.00pm - Rally of Finland WRC review (Fox Sports 2)
11.00pm - British Touring Car Championship Round 2 (Fox Sports 1)

2007 Australian Moto GP, Bathurst and Japanese GP TV coverage

October 7th 2007
  • There will proabably be delayed 2/3 (Large amounts of the race will be cut out making the race very hard to follow and there will be no replay later at 10:30pm like last year) of TV coverage of the Japanese GP on Ch10 after Moto GP when V8's are live on ch7.
  • There will be TV Coverage of Australian Moto GP on ch10 at the same time as the live TV coverage of Bathurst on Ch7.

I think it will be as follows next year
Ch7
7:00am - 6:00pm Bathurst 1000

Ch10
11:00am - 4:00pm Australian Moto GP
4:00pm - 5:30pm Japanese F1 GP

And to make it worse I wanted to watch Bathurst live and tape it but I will have to tape the Australian Moto GP (and probably the Japanese F1 GP too) because it is on the same time as Bathurst.

WRC on ch10 in 2007?
I was watching the Rally of Germany on Ch10 last week and they said that there will definatly be no Rally Australia on next years calendar. They said "the Australian round had been replaced". Dose this mean no TV coverage of the WRC next year? Channel Ten have already confirmed they will be showing Rally next year but dose that include the WRC? Has the 2007 calendar been released? I think I saw it on the WRC website but I couldn't read it because you have to pay for everything on the WRC website now. I think it will be a 2007/2008 series next year. Am I correct?

ARC on ch10 in 2007
I don't really like the style of ch10 ARC TV coverage. I think it has a boring style. I really like the WRC TV coverage. I hope they make it as good as the WRC TV coverage next year.

We used to get the WRC on TV over here (even used to get the British Rally Series) before Australia got a WRC round, so i don't see why that would change just because we don't have a round.

The 2007/2008 'Winter Series' idea was scrapped, and the series will run to the calendar year for the forseeable future.

Australia, Cyprus and Turkey have been dumped, replaced by rallies in Norway, Portugal and Ireland.

Difficult to dump a rally that has no venue. They had no choice.

Channel 10 don't make the ARC boring, it already is. Group N rally doesn't make good TV.

I think I might be getting a new computer in before October 8th so I can watch the Japanese GP live on my computer, watch Bathurst live on TV, tape the Australian Moto GP and ask someone I know to tape Bathurst for me. I really don't like the idea of watching two races at the same time but I am not wathing Ch10's TV coverage of the Japanese GP. It is a joke.

Can someone please tell me where I can go to watch live F1 Qualifying and Races?

Can someon also tell me where I can go to dowload full F1 races? I have tried this before but it never worked so can someone tell me wich site actually works?

If you get a C Band satelite dish and receiver you can watch F1 qualifying and races live on Star Sports after subscibing to Star TV Asia or UBC.

You can also try to pick up the satelite feed to CH10 on raceday but that can be a bit hit and miss because it may be one of a number of satelites.

Downloading F1 is a breach of copyright I believe and as such not permitted.

False Advertising Again
Channel Ten are advertising a delayed race as being live. They say the Japanese Moto GP is going to be shown live but it will be delayed by 2 hours (EST)

They just can not stop lying!

I hope they have a lot to talk about because the race doesn't start until 1:00pm WST, 3:00pm EST.

Do they have the GP2 race in Japan?
