Crazy idea for a World Challenge

I know I'm a dreamer but I always think long term. Champ Car has races in NA, Asia, Australia and has had inquiries in other parts of the world as well. Debates always fuel over the number of Road races, American versus foreign races, the need for a merger between IRL and Champ Car or not.

Here is a visions (it's a dream I know) I would like to share to see if others would like the idea also.

I would see two leagues in the Champ Car World Championship

One league would cover the Americas with many races in the USA, Canada and Mexica and other venues 2-3 in SA.

The other league would have teams from Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa with races in all continents.

Certains events however (example Indianapolis, Mexico, Australia - around 6) would be used for both leagues and count for World Series Points and would have a great impact for ratings and $$$. Teams would have to perform above standard in order to make the line-up for these events.

Ok now I finished dreaming and am awaiting for the flower pots.

Increased exposure, increased sponsorship, a vibrant entity recognised both in the USA and the world. But above all a chance to be in many markets all at once and making fans happy. Like I said... it is a dream.

Interesting, but how would you follow both series? I mean, there are many people who are having trouble distinguishing Champ Car and the IRL right now.

Simple there would only be one group (Champ Car and IRL together) and that's the dream. People in the USA would get their ovals, others would gets road circuits, airports and others. More American drivers in one and so on. What is stopping people is preference. By having two leagues under one championship we could make a lot more people happy.

Basically we would follow one league depending on where you are (or both if you are as crazy as I) and would get to see the best of the other league when the two leagues would meet.
