Ah yes, the race meeting they refused to talk about on the #7 telecast.

NZSTfan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
SVG to win a race like he did last year (from memory)

Mercs to hopefully do something half decent-ish

No doubt it will be a dent fest like previous years

I can't see the Erebus cars being much more competitive than they were in Adelaide. Hope I'm wrong, but I don't see any real gains from them til a few more rounds in and the engine parity adjustment.

Is it a straight-up quali and race format, or something gimmicky like the recent past?

i thought SVG snagged a race win? or was that the year before?

I can't seem to find archived results on the supercar website.

Happy to be corrected though

You could be right, but I was there and I know that Frosty won one race and won the wend.

Thanks for clearing that up Downoz.

I wonder if we will see the PR stunts between same-sponsorship F1 and SC teams like we have in past years? i.e. the Whincup/Button car swap, and then the Lowndes/Button car swap (although that one was at Bathurst)

Makes me think that now T8 are with RedBull could we see Seb or Webb in the #1 supercar? (even though webber has stated before that he has no interest in driving a supercar), and of course JW or CL in the new F1 car?

Thoughts?

yeah i'd like to see Webber in a supercar and Whincup in the F1, maybe with Stoner re-mounting his bike.

Or could Webber hop on the bike> he came from a biking background.

I guess it will all be kept under wraps until the 11th hour

The ****ing telecast last year was an absolute disgrace, pure irrelevant self promotion. 7 is pretty bad with Bathurst, but at least the racing is the focus.

Apparently Bairdo's not part of the team this year, so that could be a good thing.
