That's a very complicated arrangement between VW and Porsche.
In effect, Porsche have had control of VW for a while, even though they only owned 20% of the company. This increase in the stake is because the share "arrangement" that has ensured Porsche control is likely to be ruled illegal. Effectively, Porsche are increasing their stake to maintain the status quo and defend any possible outside bids. |

I think its german law that protects VW from a takeover from Porsche isnt it ? But theres new EU laws suppose to be on their way which will in effect over rule that ?
