Jim Clark Lotus
Hello. I have a photo of this Lotus signed by 'Jimmy Clark'. I can't find anything about this car, did Jim race a car like this? Also unsure of the location. If anyone could advise I would be obliged. It's probably quite early in his career as I believe he stopped signing Jimmy when he moved up to formula 1

I would guess that it is the Border Reivers Lotus Elite at Oulton Park, looks like the top of Clay Hill, circa 1959/60.
However I could be wrong, it's happened before!! |

Thanks for replies. I can now see under a glass the Border Reiver emblem is on the front wing just in front of the door. Don't see any record of the Elite carrying the no. 12 but i guess thats not uncommon. Great shout for Oulton Park, having googled some images the top of Clay Hill looks like a real possibility. Many thanks.
