What Happened To The T2M Motorsport Porsche No 91

Just wondering if anybody knows what happened to the T2M Motorport Porsche? After the race when we got to the parc ferme we saw the state on it and where a bit shocked, and no body had mentioned anything about it.
It must of hit something very hard and hopefully no one got hurt.
Sorry if this has been talked about in another thread.

Xavier Pompidou lost the car and threw it through a gap in the barricade -- a kind of freak event -- we saw the medical car en route to the accident, but nothing was ever said further about it, and I for one am concerned about that. I hope M. Pompidou is all right.

It was pretty shocking to see and I had no idea what had happened to it.

Was told by John Brooks after the race that it had hit a tree, which seemed unbelievable in this day and age, but have a look at the account of it on lmsr.net:

Apparently a wheel failure rather than driver 'losing it', but Pompidou was unhurt, which would not have been the case were it a right-hooker...

Dear lord, if that was John Brooks' writing... Well, I won't go there.

Stephan Gervais is credited with the news on dailysportscar; he provided the photo of the broken wheel as well as some pics of the tree in question. A brilliant (lucky?) bit of driving by Xavier to avoid the marshals and get the car facing in a direction that at least would protect him some.

Glad to hear that Xavier is ok and nobody else was involved.
